Funny this morningt I was thinking and wondering, does anyone remeber that play & the saying "Your arms are too short to box with God'? I love the saying and the play. What I considered in that message were two things. That our arms are not to short because God is a DISTANT God, but are arms are too short because we are just no MATCH for God. As we fight and struggle with Him, we just simply... are no match. I love boxing and the analogy is awesome. When one fighter has a shorter reach or armspan then the other, they (the shorter) are typically at a disadvantage. So stop trying to fight a battle you can't win. God is the one CONTENDER with whom you can throw in the towl and let HIM have all the control and still have victory! Stop fighting HIM family. ♥
